From Rick:

I don’t have a regular post for this week (Happy 4th of July), but I did come across some articles that you may find useful and interesting. These should keep you busy this week reading them, especially Kris Rusch’s series on Branding.

I’ll be back next week with a regular post.

SELF-PUBLISHING DOES NOT HAVE TO COST ANYTHING

TYPEFACE FOR BOOK COVERS

Kris Rusch has been doing an excellent series on Branding. If you are interested in selling your books, then I recommend reading the entire series to date and reading any subsequent articles.

If you don’t have any books to sell at the moment but will have, then read these articles.

If you’re using (or planning to use) a traditional publisher, you still need to read these articles because your publisher almost certainly isn’t going to do your branding for you.

And if you don’t plan to write any books to sell, then why are you reading our blog?
